Trend Alert: Silver + Gold
If I’m being completely honest, I’ve never been into wearing a lot of jewelry.
Necklaces are easy enough, but I never felt like I knew how to properly style bracelets and rings. Mixing different colored metals has always been overwhelming to me. It wasn’t until recently that I’ve felt like I’ve gotten a grasp on how to accessorize my hands. Stacked jewelry is all the rage this year, making it incredibly easy to mix-and-match your favorite pieces. If you’re stuck on style inspiration, I’ve listed two different jewelry brands to broaden your collection.
Miranda Frye
I’ll start by saying I just discovered her brand, and my cart is already full. I love her eye for combining clean geometry with different subtle textures. You can choose a metal finish for most of her items — so mixing silver and gold is effortless. The option to pick is important because I love gold, but silver compliments my complexion better. I used to think mixing metals was a fashion taboo, but it’s one of the more popular trends of the year.

My favorites:
Brooklyn Bracelet: The perfect chunky chain. I’ve seen this styled with a few different combinations on her IG feed, and I love them all. Somewhat pricey, probably worth it.
Cobra Ring: Must have. Add to cart immediately. A statement ring that plays well with others. It comes in silver and gold for whatever finish your heart desires.

I’m such a big fan of this brand. For me, a significant selling point is that their jewelry 100% sustainably, ethically, and responsibly. The company is proud to boast this on their social media handles, which immediately caught my attention. Too many brands get away with poor business practices, and I am trying my hardest to be more conscious of where I’m spending my money.

My favorites:
Opal PK Necklace - Holy hell, I love this. A gold plated dagger with opal inlay? An obvious need. I love the way this looks, and it’s definitely on my wishlist. It’s pricey, though. That’s the only drawback for me.
BDSM Hoop Earrings - These little handcuff earrings are adorably familiar. I love subtle ways to add an edge to my everyday outfits. I can already tell these will be a staple. They come in silver + gold so you can choose which you prefer.
